The LEED AP'S main role is to facilitate the integrated design process. Our first step is facilitation of an Eco-Charette whereby all project stakeholders collaborate on the complete project design through WebX online conferencing. Here the LEED Scorecard is completed and Architects, Engineers, Vendors and Contractors learn their responsibilities for completing designated roles which include: Properly formatted precise documentation, LEED template submittals, material and equipment specifications and design, etc.
During the Design and later the Construction submittals we manage the collection, preparation and organization of the submittal templates and required documentation, including assisting the design team in the preparation of the submittal templates, product specifications and required documentation, as well as uploading information to LEED-Online.
