McCarthy Builders Inc. was established in 1989 by Scott McCarthy after completing his Bachelors Degree in Construction Technologies at the University of North Florida. Passionate about Architectural Design and with a keen eye for detail, Scott charged the Company forward to become a leader in Luxury Home Design and Construction, receiving numerous Awards of Excellence for Remodeling Projects and Luxury Homes along the way.
During his presidency of the Volusia Home Builders Association in 2002, Scott became acutely aware of the necessity for the Construction Industry to rapidly change in order to protect our depleting natural resources, reduce waste and increase efficiency. Immediately Green Technologies, Principles and Products were researched and implemented. At first, products were limited and typically more expensive. Today, however, Eco-friendly products are extremely cost effective, readily available and of the highest quality.
